They are stealing a show by finding out about it thru the grapevine then they went to the promotor and underbid FiSH and J.B by offering to do a 3 day show with 5 riders for $1000.00

Damn Thats ****d Up...I hate when you try and do some **** and others come out the wood works to **** it up...They should have a comp judged by the crowd and whoever the winner is (JB and Fish) gets the original quoted amount for putting on he better show...BETTER YET, throw title for title in on it and see who the big shots are then...****in Canadian ******...(Just Those Involved in This B.S. Just another reason why it's tough to get paid what we should for shows because of half *** riders who will do it for almost nothing just so they can say "Oh, look at me, I gotta a show booked, I'm a pro"...Garbage

Yeah, it sucks, but it's called buisness. Plan and simple, the company that can deliver the product the cheapest is usually the one that wins the bid. Most consumers just don't care as much about the quality of the product they purchase anymore.

Not neccessarily, J.B said that they had an oral agreement, which I think according to CISG (international law for signatory countries (i.e. US and Canada) should apply (no statute of frauds(which just means **** doesnt have to be written down)) so long as you had a witness or two and its not just his word vs yours. Im not a lawyet yet, but I think they might have a case to at least collect some damages.

aside from the fact that jb and fish (i don't know you guys but know you've been around for a while) got screwed the other side is that NO ONE comes out looking good. if the other guys do a bad show then the promoter will feel like he wasted money wether or not he picked a shitty team and will be less likely to hire the same type(stuntriding) of show in the future. if jb and fish go in talking **** about the other team they are going to look immature. it's a shitty situation for everyone, espically jb and fish. wish you guys luck.

that's the problem with this damn sport....everybody knows what i'm talking about too...o.g.'s get no respect....even teams that have been around for a while, busting their hump doing local shows getting paid jack ****.....promoters are all buisness man...they think that if they can pay a rider 100 bucks a day, that will be a good buy...and the sad part of it is-there is always going to be a "up and comming" group that will jump ALL OVER THAT.
