If you've read some of the recent threads about what makes you tick, your objectives for stunting might have been realized in a different light. I know you've seen this thread a million times but I'm expecting some different perspectives.

99% of us aren't doing it for money (yet) LOL for obvious reasons

I originally got a wrecked gixxer 750 to ride around and get good mileage as my monster trucks got around 4mpg

Turned out that I could wheelie it a little....practiced that for a bit then decided to try it out on the ladies Holy ****..had no idea how much I could get laid cause of that.

It used to get realllllyyyy funny after I could wheelie pretty good. Me and my friends would set it up pretty nice in my little college town...they'd go get in line at the bar and spot some girls...then I'd wheelie by a few times and they'd hype me up out loud etc....after which I'd pull up and park my bike to get in line with them...spit a little game at the girls and it was on. I think everyone I hung out with up there got laid alot more cause of stunting

So a couple years passed and here I am now. I still can't ride for **** unless there's girls around. If they're single I've noticed I have a way more style, flare, and just have more fun in general....basically what I'm saying is...I do wheelies for chicks

 

You know that feeling you got the first time you rocked a wheelie for a few blocks? That's why I do it. I get the same feeling every time I pull a new trick (which isn't too often).

 

I honestly had an epiphany a few nights back. I am Christian and realized that when I am alone on my bike it gives me the chance to be with God. It may sound crazy but he has always protected us when we have done some stoopid stuff. He helps me conquer everything in my life.

Its a big mental game also, not pure physical. My mind is always telling me that a bike should be on two wheels, that I shouldn't speed, that stuning is dangerous and I should grow up and be more responsile....... It is an internal battle then when conquered makes me feel "on top of the world"

Well that was one honest post Sillyneck...

I don't really stunt a whole lot. I learned to wheelie and roll stoppies last year, now i'm trying to get a new bike so I don't want to stunt this one a whole lot and **** it up (more than it already is) and lose even more money on it.

But anyway getting back on point...

There are so many things that attract me to motorcycling and stunting specifically. I remember having a dirtbike when I was a little kid, and everyone in the neighborhood thought I was the coolest ever for having it. So when I turned 16 I was just like ****...having a bike makes you cool, i'm buying one. Yeah it sounds gay, but honestly for all those people who never rode and went out and bought a bike...you don't know what it's like you bought it cuz it looks ****ing cool.

I like stunting because it is unique. I know to a lot of the people on here it seems like everyone stunts now a days, but lets face it...if you stunt, you are most likely a member here, and there are 20+thousand members (lets give it a 20k margin of error) So that's only 40k people in America that stunt, out of how many millions...And how many members on here are really super talented? And extremely smaller number.

I'm not the best rider ever, but I love to do my garbage wheelies all day, and I could watch this **** all day. I love just being out at a spot watching people ride, and filming this ****. It's fun as hell to just chill with your friends. And like SillyNeck said...the girls!

I don't think anyone rides for money. Sure you can make money, but thats' not WHY you do it.

 

For some guys, even rocking highchair circles won't help them get laid. Sucks to be you.

Nothing else as fun.......and as cheap.(except weed) but that gets boring after not riding for a while......the people that are involved that DON'T ride , are becoming more and more of a bother because all they do is run thier Fu(king mouths....posers are like a growing virus....

great post i was wondering bout this myself....me and my boy mike have been riding at are spot religously for the last few months almost everyday and i flagged him down he pulled up next to me and i was like what are we doing? we come out here every day for what? we aint **** we never will be and we jus both started rolling almost fell off are bikes lauphing so hard it was jus a good session that day we had alot of fun.......i dont know why we do it

 

Showing off is what it looks like it comes down to. Showing off to other stunt riders, regular riders, non-riders, and girls.

Also splittin' wigs, making new friends, making money, traveling to ride at new spots. To me.. it's just a big cluster f*ck of FUN!!

 

...I do it cuz I'm old and don't have anything better to do! lol

i do it cuz i love it, will always do it. started off as the allure to the bikes. first time i saw anything about stuntin was the old ruff ryders anthem video, then the article in vibe about wink1100. i was fifteen or sixteen then and wanted to do it from that day. met the boys from scooter trash and its been on since, but i will always love it and it will always be a big part of my life.

 

i think this applies for me as well

 

i do it for all the above mentioned reasons plus it gives me something to focus on i couldnt care any less about any thing else even if i get paralysed or how ever you spell it ill get some 1 to put a trike kit on my bike so ill still be able to wheelie thats why i got my tat rider for life its all good man im tryin to get paid but if i dont get my bike back together that wont ever happen lol
