whats with my 929 idle

hey guys...i hope this hasnt been answered to many times but here goes....i just recently got a 929....the idle goes from like 2 grand under load. to 5-6grand when the clutch is in...this is the only bike that has done this for me...i was just wondering if there is a fix for it...i have just been dealing with it by not turning my idle up...running it at like 1500 rpm...but it makes some tricks harder...just wondering what other guys with 929 did to run a higher idle...without it going crazy and bouncing around...

thanks

Re: whats with my 929 idle

Hey man....Greg (hooka) has the exact issue on his 929 up here. I took that thing for rip and was afraid to clutch it up..Soon as I pulled in the clutch the biatch revs to 5k but like you said underload would go down to 3k..
I have heard of this a few times here on SL and havent really seen a solution posted other than doing what you are doing which is running at super low idle..
Good Luck
