929 vs f4i vs 600rr
929 vs f4i vs 600rr
Was up guys, this is my situation right now I have a 01 929 the power is great, but the bike is tourqe as hell. This bike for me it seems no matter what if I clutch a sit down or roll on a stand up this bike comes up to quick and straight up in my face. Before the 929 I had a gixxer 600 with the 600 when I would do a wheelie the bike would come up with me instead of automatically in my face.
So this is my question lately I have been thinking about going back to a 600 were I fell I am taking the bike for a ride instead of the bike taking me. So help me out now that I love hondas do I stick with the 929, buy a f4i, or buy a 600rr. Which one would you use for just the occasional sit down wheelies, stand up wheelies, stoppies, and day to day driven.

If its taking you for a ride then it sounds like you need a LOT more practice.

Re: 929 vs f4i vs 600rr
You probably use way too much revs, because you are used to 600. Use so little it sometimes just bogs down and doesn't raise. Little bit more and it will raise low and smooth, even with stock gearing. too much and it will raise to your face real fast.
"he occasional sit down wheelies, stand up wheelies, stoppies, and day to day driven."
for occasional stunting and day to day driving the bigger is better.

Re: 929 vs f4i vs 600rr
stick with the 929 you just have to get used to were you let of the throttle and use the brake to slow your self down i would not get another bike for the world unless it and f4i but i would only get one of those for combo circles because its nothing but a little baby for it
Re: 929 vs f4i vs 600rr
stay with the 929. Or trade me your 929 for my f4i and some cash.
unless this is justin with a new screen name.. in which case.. give me your 929 and some cash and you can have my f4i.

Re: 929 vs f4i vs 600rr
it doen't really matter as long as its a honda....I love my 600RR, but when its seen its last day, I may get an F4i, a 954, a 929, or another 600RR, every bike feels different and has their advantages and disadvantages...ride em all and see what you like the best, there's always someone around who has one!!!
