looped my bike ...... skinned my hands up really bad half the skin is gone and blisters every where.... whats the best ointment for road rash? and anyone know how long its gonna take before i can use my hads again?

use neo til it is healed and then use an ointment that has vitamin e in it

what he said, I work for thr Fire Dept, and when we get burned thats what they give us, it has a pain killer in it and I only have minor scaring

 

I usually dont put anything on mine i just let it get air and scab up, but if its on your hands pretty bad you'll probably def. wanna use something cuz your always using your hands. I've had it pretty bad on my elbows arms and back and just let it heal for around 2 weeks i cant notiuce any scars at all.

get it from a doc its way better than neo... trust me do a search on my road rash and check that out the silavadene healed it up in 9 days flat...

I went to the doctor yesterday she clean it all up and cut away alot off skin and gave me some pain pills which helps out a lot but she just told me to keep using triple antibiotic ointment.... my road rash on my back and arms looks awhole lot better but my hands still look like sh*t
