fiddy rack on my f4???

Now that i'm getting a fiddy, i'd like to be able to haul it around on the big bike (my only real mode of transportation). Anybody have any ideas how I could do this?

In all aspects, they don't weigh anymore than a passenger ever would, so that woudn't be the biggest concern. I would suggest a mount that would somehow snap on just like your passenger seat would to the sub-frame. Positioning is going to be the difficult part. You really don't want it sticking out sideways, but lengthways it would be in your back. Either way, if you get it to work, Pics are a must

Doh! I remember that now.......You might as well make a mini-trailor or some kind of way to attach it.......although those little tires might not keep up going down the highway It'll be the first fifty with z-rated tires :YEAH

Re: fiddy rack on my f4???

i dont think its possible and the fact that youre gonna try it is hilarious. the only thing that would be safe and might work is if you altered one of thos small trailers that the guys on harleys use. even then youd have to figure out a way to mount a hitch.

the best solution that may wind up being the cheapest is to just buy some beater car for a couple hundred bucks. keep your eyes peeled and ask around, ive bought about 5 cars for under 500, they usually wont be in the paper, but askin around in taverns and word of mouth you can find some cheap ****.

i picked up a '97 4x4 pathfinder with leather interior for 900 2 months ago

if it was up to me, hahah id just ride the fiddy everywhere! well you could put the back tire on the road n hook up the front tire to the back, just make sure you keep the fiddy in neutral haha

oh, it's possible
I do have a beater s10 (at home), but to park a vehicle here in the city would cost $60/month (motorcycle parking is free), and i'm too cheap to pay for parking. lol

Re: fiddy rack on my f4???

does your bike have a hollow axle??? you could run a pin through there for the hitch, and put 10" street tires on a little axle and you'd have a trailer...

Re: fiddy rack on my f4???

There was a guy about 3 years back at the Dragon in Tennessee that had a trailer setup to pull his pcketbike painted identical to his sportbike. The setup looked pimp, I will keep looking for the pics and post them if I do.
I just spent about 2 hours looking, but couldn't find it. Good thing I am at work!!

Re: fiddy rack on my f4???

you would need to run some square tube off you subframe parallel to the 12 bar plate. then weld a plate or something over the rear part of the seat so the motor could sit on. then strap it down to the subframe.

Re: fiddy rack on my f4???

what if you took the skid plate of the 50 and strapped it to the 12 bar? leaving the 50 the same direction as the big bike.
