Yeah that is kinda screwed up that you got ****ed over like that.

Another thing that is bs with the comp is the stacking for team events....TEAM should be exactly what it says. A team that is together year round and isn't 2,3,4 of the best individual riders from all over the place that get together that morning. Example: last year that east to west crap beating Geared Up when the crowd OBVIOUSLY liked Geared Up better. The crap with putting individuals together to make a team is crap. Groups like Vertical Outlaws, Geared Up, XFR, and so on should make up this part of the comp and thats it. The individuals want to be by themselves so they should only be allowed in the individual comps, longest no hander, freestyle etc..... Get it straight for next year and maybe it won't be so drawn out

i ride for XFR and we had a bad day. For a TEAM event i think it should just be your TEAM but with no rules why not grab a great rider and have them ride with you also. I think that there should be set rules to a comp. about a lot of things but until then i guess you can't do anything but complaine and tell people how you feel about this or that to make it better next time. There shouldn't have been a rule on how many people can be in the TEAM comp. either because it's a TEAM event not get this many people and go perform. Oh well i had a blast meeting people and watching great riders ride.

he's been out of the announcing game for the last 2 years while it's blown up so fast..

cut him a lil slack.

he's back in the scene this year and i'm sure he'll make another name for him self...

you got to imagine the pressure of trying to talk in from of the huge as$ crowd u guys had going on there too..

and then trying to keep it all together and organized i'm sure was a big task too.

you have to know chubbz to know how fukin hillariouse he really is.
he may have said some stuff here n there that was inappropiet to some but im sure he means no dissrespect...
if anything.. he's just trying to keep everybody intertained..

chubbz has beenn around since this ***** started back in 1995-1996 doing his thing ... working for the starboyz.. and promotong the hell out of them...
the starboyz are a house hold name now... and chubbz was there for almost all of it..

i'm sure thomas is a good anouncer.. specialy since he's on stuntlife everyday all day talking and getting to know everyone here..

but i would count chubbz just yet.

the announcing thing ..i'm sure isnt easy.... and im sure thomas would agree.

150 chic i understand what ur saying about the whole stacking team events first off if a stacking team can beat a team that rides year round well the team should go back to the drawing board but if u notice alot of times now alot of these comps go to big name people just so they will fill the seats and have them keep coming back (no disrespect to the big name riders) but whatever it is what it is so just ride see me naked make ur life better

Bullshit. i dont care how long you have been out of the 'game', there are some things you do and some things you dont do.

Chubbs blew goats on the mic all weekend, and like i've said before, you can quote me on that one...and just so everyone knows who is talking ****, it is me, Chris McNeil, or as EVERYONE knows me: TEACH.

it was so bad, my girlfriend left the indiv. freestyle finals to go sit in the truck.

i dont care about anything he said about girls or any other 'innapropriate' stuff, i'm talking about the distinct difference in the attention that was paid to different riders.

Some things that i observed while watching the indiv finals from the stands (a unique perspective for us riders, i challenge all of you to try it sometime) that struck a nerve which screamed horseshit:

1. chubs amping up the crowd for certain riders that he is tight with, or whatever
2. chubs not even talking about certain riders while they ride, instead talking about stupid stuff to the crowd, taking their attention away from the rider
3. chubs talking to the judges while runs were going on behind him and them
4. certain riders being given small priveledges because of who they are
5. judges talking on cell phones during runs
6. only one out of three judges being present during runs
7. judges talking to chubbs during runs, obviouslly not paying attention to what was gonig on in front of them
8. being told we are using 'xsba' rules, only to see the score sheets with categories crossed out
9. the scores NOT being announced until 2hours after the event, in both indiv freestyle and team freestyle

how effing hard is it to add 3 numbers up? bc that is all anyone had to do to get the scores of the riders/teams. makes you wonder what is going on: (14+15+32=61, wow that took me a whole 15 seconds to do!) although i will say that it is hard to add up numbers when the judges arent even there to give scores, or maybe there is a special system no one knows about that requires extensive calculations to determine a 'winner'. not really accusing anyone of anything, but it certainly makes you skeptical...i guess if you don't announce the scores in a timely manner, you have little to worry about what the scores really are, you can just go with your 'gut feeling'... makes sense to me.

i had a great time at SW, meeting new people, and hanging out with old friends. i have no personal complaints, however, there seems to be a lot of BS with just about every Florida competition, every year. it is not that hard to figure out. mad props to team xtreem for putting this thing together, but isht, some simple solutions to some big problems from my point of view.

Thomas should have been on the mic NO QUESTIONS ASKED-his reputation preceeds him on this one...

how hard is it to get an impartial emcee and judges (nothing but love for the boyz and bid dave) who are actually present and paying attention during the competition???

I thought xfr was gonna kill everone for team event. I only saw half of there run but I remember seeing jeff crash on an elevator and I know if anyone crashed they are disqualified.

but on the real Vertical outlaws had the best run I have ever seen by any team.
They did everything in sync perfect.

come on now chris and daves perfect highchair scrape at the exact same time was totally off the wall. After the scrape they both took off there left hands for a crowd wave at the same time.no hand brake either. sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they won the team comp in my mind.

I wish every comp just had open riding all day because I would just ride with all the groups and have fun. that is why I am in this game for fun.

That bothered me also. By talking about the girls, and what not, it took the attention away from the riders.

I just hope next year they get an annoucer that can keep on track with the contests.

I would think each rider would have to fill out a form with certain questions about themselves, so when it comes to the show, the annoucers have something to say about each and every rider. Not just the star riders, all of them... :YEAH
