dunno about clip-ons. I know 00-03 stuff works. We got a couple of 6R's in our crew and interchange all sorts of parts from those years. Just call your local bike shop and ask about the clip-ons.

98-02 is pretty much all the same. A few 95-97 generation parts will bolt up too.

Clip-ons from 98-02 will work. The frontend, frame, subframe, swingarm, wheels, brakes, chain sprocket, every engine cover, engines swap, tanks swap, seats, rearsets. 98 and 99 only had one headlight so 00-02 uppers and sides won't work on them but I am pretty sure the tail will. Brake light, pipes, cables, switches, and so on, and so on.
