Re: Houston Results
Release 1/24:
XSBA - Aurora, IL
46,000 people were on hand at Houston's Reliant Stadium, where the Houston Texans NFL football team plays. The stadium capacity is 75,000 but when the XSBA riders took to the floor under spotlights and fireworks on Saturday night you would have thought that the stadium was at capacity.
8 of the XSBA's hottest stars were on hand to put on the 1st ever street freestyle feature show inside a dome or arena. The concrete surface was prepared and had adequate traction, however as the night went on, the surface became less funtional. Despite the slick surface, the riders put on a show that was beyond amazing as the crowd lit up with every acrobatic manuver... ending with a 20' endo by Teach (McNeil), which by the crowd reaction, you would have thought that he did a back-flip.
The final order:
(name / score)
1. Pat Stephens (92.0) Hon929
2. Chris McNeil (91.9) Kaw636
3. Tony D'Orsi (91.1) Hon900
4. Grant Sunday (90.6) Suz600
5. Kane Friesen (88.7) Suz1000
6. Ronnie Hurst (87.6) Suz1000
7. Dan Jackson (87.0) Hon954
8. Warren James (86.0) Suz929
Stay tuned for other potential Clear Channel events in which the XSBA may be included, such as ramp-to-ramp FMX (non-dirt) programs, Monster Truck Thunder Nationals (non-dirt), and CCE/NBC's newly formed Dew Action Sports Tour events in Louisville, Denver, Portland, San Jose, and Orlando.

ya buddy, that would be KENNY abbott....
20' foot endo...lol...it was a little longer than that, but the crowd did eat it up! i threw the 180 in for good measure along with a no footer and a near face plant in the warm up run!
been a long time coming, but it looks like we finally did what we have been trying to do all along: show the clear channel boys that we are a show worth booking and that we can entertain thousands of fans!!
scoring could have gone either way, was too close for anyone to call....crowd definately ate it up...and we couldnt even endo properly or smoke the tires!
thanks to all who came and supported...nice meeting all who i did, especially the dudes i never met before...
we'll keep you posted as far as future events and how to qualify for them!
keep pushing!

Re: Houston Results
Thanks for a great show fellas, thanks for signing my daughters program and Kane, I caught my wife staring at that nicely autographed poster hanging in MY personal room,,,WOW. I'm glad that the show was a success and I hope those in the stunting community recognize and remember the work that Clint and all of the Lonestar Lunatics put in to give y'all as well as us less than average riders a place to ride on Friday......Big Props to all of y'all that had a hand in makin' this a successfull weekend.... I don't know all of the names, but you know who you are and what you did. Now let's just hope the stunting community in the other cities break 'em off and show support the way it was done down here. On a side note, to those who had to protest or whatever, because you wasn't invited, that was your loss. We still love ya and hope y'all get over whatever it is that's ailling you, 'cause I got a chance to see a portion of a stunt nation with no plex and no drama, justalotofstuntingfoyoass, I hope the next one is better and so on.... That way next year y'all won't forget where it started and break us off another tour stop.... If Friday was a huge turnout I can't even imagine what Stuntwars is gonna be like, I got gas and motel money.........Late......... Free

oh man.... 46,000 people!! ken pointed at me to go out and i just wanted to turn around and go load my bike up. LOL. we all sucked it up and did our thing though!! i cant even put the experience into words. all of this time and all of this work and sweat and miles!!! all of this listening to people tell us about keepin it gangster. after all of that, we rode in the most important event in this young sports history and ya know what?...... WE KICKED ***!!! it was worth every mile i have put on my truck and every day of work i have had to miss! it was worth every bullshit comment we have had to put up with on here or anywhere else.. we have spent sooo much time trying to defend the xsba and get people to realize that everything isnt always about payouts! spent just as much time tryin to explain that being "GANGSTERS" is nothing but a joke!!! those thousands of kids that wanted us to sign there shirts, hats, posters, shoes, arms or whatever loved us for what we are... PROFESSIONALS!! until riders experience something like this show, you will never realize how meaningless 90% of the crap that takes place on this board is!!! want my advice?? everyone go get a handbrake and a bar put on your bike. we just rode in the facility that is the epitomy of everything we have wanted to be a part of... and those lil kids and the fans love bartricks seat stander circles!!
wanna say thanks to everyone that rode in this comp and helped us be seen in a positive light for once!!! most of all, i wanna thank KEN. i have supported this man from day 1 because i know he cares and he has already given us sooo many opportunities to make something of ourselves. i have been there through the rough times as well as some other riders (NOT MANY) and now we are gonna take advantage of what we have in front of us and make this man as proud of us as we are of him!!! whether you know it or not, if this goes somewhere from all of this, its because of KEN ABBOTT!!! so to all muh boys out there that left 46,000 people in reliant stadium with a look of awe on their faces...... you are my heroes! lets make it even better next time!!
