it will happen when it happens. Ryan cant figure out how to get the **** on his computer.. he's a mechanic not a computer nerd. hah. I live 200 miles away and.. well.. I've already seen it so screw you guys... haha.
Ryan's computer has a firewire card, USB2 and windows 2000. Ryan, post up your camera make and model and somebody might be nice and tell you how to do it.

ITS A MINI-DV, CANON ZR-85. IM TRYING TO DO IT WITH THE SOFTWARE THAT CAME WITH THE CAMERA: DIGITAL VIDEO SOLUTION DISK, VER. 10.0 FOR WINDOWS. SOFTWARE INCLUDES: ZOOMBROWSER EX 4.5, PHOTORECORD 2.0, PHOTOSTITCH 3.1, DV TWAIN DRIVER 6.3, AND DV WIA DRIVER FOR WINDOWS Me 6.2. I CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO USE THE SOFTWARE TO SHOW VIDEO FROM THE CAMERA, CLIP WHAT I WANT TO SHOW, NAME THE FILE, RETRIEVE THE FILE, AND POST IT UP. I SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN SCHOOL.

I basically have the same camera. Get a firewire. Plug it in to your camera, plug the other end into your computer. YOu most likely have windows movie maker, which is all you need, and it is as easy as **** to use. open WMM click file:Import and then just follow the steps man. it is pretty tit. Don't use the software that comes with the camera it is junk/confusing.
