I've read that Starboyz Kevin attempted a backflip on a gix750 and lost it 40ft. in the air. Anyone else hear that one?!?!? You'd think a vid and pics would be all over the place.

Yeah, i saw a guy on one of Travis Pastranas videos, trying to just jump his Gsxr into the foam pit. They told him to go way faster and he did a front flip and lost it while upside down about 50ft in the air. He totally missed the foam pit. Ouch!!!

ya the dude jumping his furred out gixxer was in travis pastranas nitro circus 2. he fkin romps on the throttle right as he hits the ramp and the fkin kicker ramp LAUNCHES him into the air. atleast 40-50 foot above the pit. he misses and lands on a bunch of plywood. **** looks crazy. neone see where they tried to jump the van that was driving towards them. damn...crazy bastids.

What happened is an English magazine 'MCN' had a picture of a furred out 750 missing a foam pit on a backflip attempt. The magazine made an error and wrote that it was Kevin(it looked somewhat like him from what I hear). Apparently the pic in the magazine was from the guy in the Pastrana video.
I'll post up the article if I can find it. If you look here you can see where they claim there is a GSXR backflip gone wrong in the US.
