Whats the job the symbol/logos got to do? Is it to be recognised by other stunters only or to all Joe P (and cops)?

It has to be simple (so no photoshop artists need apply!)

No US flags (I'd like to feel welcome in other countries) and a lot of us stunters are from out of town.

The up-on-one and NBA style a getting there, but they're a bit hard for tagging on road-signs with my spray cans!

My vote is for something like the Hells Angels 1%'er symbol (as we're the new 1% that gives motorcycling a bad name)-
The twelve'o'clock ( XII ) numerals are nice and basic, the tattoo wouldn't hurt that much either!

Get your kid bro or sister to post some designs so we can all hate on them.
I think that if we leave it long enough, one symbol will eventually rise to the top thru popular usage - time is a cool designer.
yo you hit the nail on the head with this! it should be this or something along these lines.

I like it because it's simple, but you can make it personal/matching to whatever colours/fonts your specific team uses... and its' obscure enough that you need some inside knowledge.. but it can spread to the public... any senior stunters thoughts?

It's like pissing and marking your territory. But really lame, and in Microsoft Paint. It'd be cool IRL though.

How bout using a spreader as the X and two guys doin christs for the I's... hehe. Ok, I'm bored and just think/typing. The XII idea is pretty cool though. As far as a "symbol" goes though, I definately thought about the SF logo first. it's just too pimp. We'll see what happens.

good thought...but it needs to stay simple to make it easy...I like the basic idea of the XII and we can interchange it with crew's fonts and colors etc....placement should probably just be on the side of the gas tank?

Because doing a spreader in the downtown core of whatever city we live in is much better. It is what it is. Yea there are two sides to it: Lot / Competition and Street... but in the end it's pretty much one and the same. And some ppl are going to represent more hardcore than others. Just like anything else. So quit being a *****.

Lmao.. depends who you ride with.

But you have to agree.. With the primary attitude being FTP, and the simple fact that all of it is illegal on city streets, is spraypainting a wall that much of a stretch?

Honestly though, out of all of us on here, how many stunt regularly @ competition? I'm betting less than 10%. I may be way outta line with that. But the vast majority is prolly on the street.

Yea.. I agree. okay then..... Industrial strength stickers... lol.. I dunno... theres no easy answer for this one.. it's the root problem we all share. It has to go one way or the other... They should make it legal, and only charge you with careless driving if you crash. :YEAH

Re: Universal Stunt Symbol

if u want a symbol just use the uponone nba style.

sorry but the 12 (XII) isnt tight .. would u rock something with the nba style logo on it or XII ...

i dont want people to have to decipher what XII really means.. if i want people to know i stunt i would rather flaunt it with something even a 10yr will notice (oh look wheelie) not ... oh look XII

just have fun people and ride us riders dont need a symbol ,we just need to have fun and enjoy the sport as a community

i doubt tony h. and the rest of the skate community sit around thinkin of a "skate symbol" they just ride and have fun it seems like .. im not knockin the idea just stating my ...

Re: Universal Stunt Symbol

We get noticed alright... we get noticed on the street, on-line, in courthouse, etc... . I don't want everyone to know I'm a street rider, only the ones that can apprechiate and relate. I'm fed up with people asking "You mean you do wheelies and stuff, isn't that dangerous?". Or my personal favorite (makes me wanna puke) is "You know, I saw some guy on a blue bike on a highway.......". *** em all, I'm not a recruit agent. Now buy my damn sticker

Re: Universal Stunt Symbol

has anyone seen the avatar someone on here has? Its a bike doin a wheelie and red and blue are the colors with the bike being white. Looks kinda like an NBA logo, istead of the guy its a bike...
