Re: Fulmer Helmets??

Fulmer is actually an old name that is trying to come back. They are a good helmet but with no name recognition from the public they are a hard sell. We brought them in where I work and gave up after 6 months because of the lack of sales.

Re: Fulmer Helmets??

I have a fulmer helmet, functionally its fine, but once you put a better helmet on you immediately notice the difference, especially outside noises like wind noise. My Fulmer will give you a headache if you let it get to you.

Even with the big margin, if I dont sell any...

The other thing Im worried about is I think a lot of my customers might think they're too cheap. Lots of them have the "you get what you pay for " mind set

Re: Fulmer Helmets??

My dad has a fulmer from like 1982. I've used it a couple times but didn't like it, too much wind noise and vents are permenently open, but hey, it's 20 years old.
Anyways for some reason he really likes it and is in need of a new screen, is there any chance that you guys dealing fulmers could get one? It's from the early 80's, full face. I just need a new visor for the thing. PM me if you have any leads. Thanks

melon is still perfect! But it was a poor fitting helmet and the vents did suck. Its a very good deal for a newbie low on cash ~$100

Ya. pretty much, but it's better than not wearing one at all. I'm just wondering because he for some reason really likes the lid but the shield is all scratched up, a new shield would make a nice Christmas gift for him.
But I do know that he should really get a new helmet if he decides to get himself a bike and stop stealing mine.

Re: Fulmer Helmets??

Realizing that something that bombed for me could sell well in another area of the country, I would try this: Tell your rep you will take on his line if and only if he agrees that after say 6 months if you are not happy with the sales he will take the unsold product back with no restocking charge. Your side of the deal would be to keep all the boxes, bags etc to make them resellable. If he knows it sells well there is a very good chance he will do it and there is no riisk to you. If he wont do it I would think twice about taking it on.

Re: Fulmer Helmets??

before you know it, time will go by so fast that your gonna have to under sell those helmets just to get rid of them

Then again...it all depends on who is walking into your shop

Re: Fulmer Helmets??

I bought an af400 a couple years ago for $90. Looks good, fits good, and has nicely survived a couple bad crashes.
