Re: Body armor

Icon offers a body armor vest for 100 dollars. I think the ones from Astars and others are more expensive.

Re: Body armor

I think the ICON gear is tight as hell. It looks good and has very good protection. The company has blown up real big this year with there gear. Everything I have is ICON and I love it.

n/p bro you don't have to be up north to rock it, it just seems the peeps up north been buying them.

Digidy rocks one down here he uses it for dirt as well.

the icon vest is tight i do like them and believe they serve the purpose of a normal back protector. they just dont offer shoulder or elbow protection.

Re: Body armor

Icon has armored underwear, shin and knee protectors, and the vest. With all that and an armored jacket like a TiMax, TiMax gloves, and a good helmet (I'm going with the mainframe flat black) you're pretty well protected under 80mph, just remember to slide on your gloves and not your arms. I went down at 80 and the only thing rashed on my body was my left shin. I had a couple minor spots on my back, but I was wearing only a helmet and gloves.

Only a 1 inch scratch on the helmet too, you just have to fall right..

Re: Body armor

yea you do just have to fall right, i fell trying to 12, i just bailed on the bike as soon as it scraped and i slid on my gloves for a bit, everything was good except for my knees and favorite pair of jeans, i now wear kneepads when i stunt, hey Chris hows the flexability on the armored vest the back protector that it comes with looks like ist made to take a bullet.
