What methods are you most successful with? I've got a few clips that are only a couple minutes but are well over 100megs, i need to compress them quite a bit. Just not sure which program to use.

btw- im using Vegas5.0 for editing

for vegas, i always put it in WMV9 and then put it in at least 512 or 1
