I'm starting to be with you on that one. We were the first ones to be contacted about this "show" and now it seems to have turned into a 3-ring circus. I talked to Leslie about a month ago over the phone and offered some advise and told her to give me a call whenever for whatever....haven't heard from her since and hasn't returned my email .

Why are you leaving out the guys that are actually funding this show and putting it on...Scott and Steven? Anyways, I am not blowing smoke up anybodys as$ just a bit worried as the event it only one month away and there is still this much confusion. I just think it is funny that we were going to be the only ones doing a few shows for this event and now it has turned into this . As I said before call me anytime and I will help out the best I can.

Lesson #1: Never post details until they are 90% set in stone. It seems that this event changes weekly and that makes the riders uncertain about a lot of things.

Advice: Still not sure how they are going to pay for all the teams hotels? I mean that is certainly sweet, but just doesn't seem to practical for them and whos names are these rooms going to be in.?. I know for a fact I would't trust my name being on any rooms unless it was someone from my own family...especially people in this industry...seen it first hand and it gets bad.

Call a brotha...getting a bit worried over here .

i am with you. i talked to her a month or two ago and it was not this large and things were diff. i called her tonight and explained she needed to tighten up and set things in stone and stop having numerous conflicting postings or it would be a disaster. i guess you can chalk it up to inexperience. She should have used Dirty B to cordinate everything through the NSRA IMO.

regardless as Nags said we will at least get to see everyone and it's only a few hour drive for us unlike others.

Re: Battle of ALL the stunt riderz

Hey guys,

Here is the deal. There will be a cash purse, for what events we are still working on that and I apologize for the delay. We also have quite a few none cash prizes as well. The hotel rooms will be there, Im working on what hotel atm. We are providing hotel rooms for more then just the stunt teams so Im trying to make sure we get you guys in a great place at a great rate. (These rooms are cut off I believe, if you have sent your contract to leslie or Gixxie everything is all set then) The rooms will be under Cyclepalooza's name IE Scott Coleman.

I want you guys to know this, the stunt rider aspect of Cyclepalooza was originally a demo of a 2 teams. We met leslie at a bike show and through her efforts it evolved, then we met Gixxie and evolved it further. With their advice we are going to make Cyclepalooza one the hugest stunt competitions ever done. This is why the rules are loose and the purse hasn't been confirmed. I have a meeting with both Leslie and Gixxie this week to finalize the details.

Keep in mind that we want you guys to have the most amazing time you have ever had. Whether your competing or not. Cyclepalooza is not a stunt competition, its party. We have 26 bands confirmed to date, a full skate park with a skate competition and pro demos, Dj's coming from Miami, almost every custom bike builder in Florida American and metric, live tattooing and show, a huge bikini contest, you guys and more.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 561-628-9184

not to be a dick, but if this thing is one month away and you want it to be huge...why not employ someone who has actually put together tons of comps and other events?

one of the biggest bike events, as you put it, would be well served to be organized and have things set in stone...people like me are waiting to hear what the word is on this thing before we make our travel plans, and 2 weeks notice to leave work and drive to florida is rough.

how about this....I was told I am announcing, by leslie, then I was told Chubbz was announcing, then I was told I am announcing again, and now gixxie told me leslie has someone else announcing

I want any excuse I can get to come to West Palm in December and get a little bit of cash and a free room....but im not walking into a cluster**** and running it for someone else, when if I were contracted to run it all from the beginning it would have never gotten this bad...

especially when more than a handful of riders have repeatedly said that I need to be there

https://www.stuntlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=100480

this thread goes with the quote of the day "We met Leslie at a bike show and through her efforts it evolved"

So basically Leslie has....
#1- screwed over Redline Extreme
#2- is about to **** off an investor, so he will never want stunt **** again
#3- has essentially taken money out of a qualified individuals pocket who could run this....
on and on, and for what?

To seem important?......to prove she can do it?......to be down with all the cool stuntriders??.....

WTF

Im calling bullshit now....Im sick of wack people getting hooked up by chance with somone who wants to do a show.....knock it off

and teach....Im sure steven wants it to be big, but simply does not know any better, leslie was his only foray into stuntriding and she said she could handle it

like I said.....I want any excuse to hit West Palm in December, Cyclepalooza sounds fun as ****... but I will not get caught up in a bullshit *** show

copy that, it's getting cold up here...like Rainman said: let the pros run the event, the other people can still take the credit.

Re: Battle of ALL the stunt riderz

i'm not going to any more stunt comps with less than 100 people in attendance........there's my 2 cents.

show promoters-----promote your event to FANS.....there's free press all over the place, just open your eyes, newspapers, radio stations, magazines
