Stuntin Gsxr 750

Might be getting an old 99 gxsr750 and am gonna be using it for stuntin, could someone plz tell me what size sprockets would be right for it? if anyone else uses a 750 what do u use? cause i dont wanna use it with standard gearing, i just wanna use it for learning BP wheelies and stoppies mainly, are they any good for that kinda stuff? what do you guys think? Also would u say its worth getting a engine cage and 12bar for cause THIS will b my main stuntin bike.

Appreciate any help.
Thanks

Kev.

Always a cage for a stunt bike, 12 bar, personally I'm not getting one till I start scraping the numberplate/exhaust/tail... having a shiney un-used 12 bar fitted just looks gay unless you can actually use it.. just my opinion, I don't really like 12 bars anyway so getting a round j-beats type bar instead that sits flush with the tail unit.

a cage wud b a very gd idea, as it will save u alot of money in the rlong run if u bail a few times, as for a 12 bar, i'd personally go for 1, ive just got mine fitted and have found a few new tricks i can do with it, but depends wot u want it for really :YEAH

go up 10 or so teeth in the rear with the 750! deffently get a cage and 12 bar. I think it saves money in the long run, who cares what you look like sporting a bike with a 12 when you dont use it, it saves you time repairing or buying new tail sections.

My mate runs a big (+8) sprocket on his gix750 but it does't seem to effect his lame stoppies.
Can 12 it good though! I'll get him to post up pics of the homemade gix7 cage (if he ever gets round to joining the forum).

Re: Stuntin Gsxr 750

cage for sure, 12 bar is up to you.

as for the gearin, our mate has a 750 with standerd gearin and he dont like it, first is to tall. so he's goin +10 on the back and gettin standerd front as well as -1 so he can see what is best

let us know how you get on

bigger the sprocket the slower you can idle up on one its all pref but i would do a +12-2 that way you can still hit the highway
