Higher, higher!..
Re: Higher, higher!..
Yeah that road is great but its up hill and has a camber.... it's quite odd really hard to explain without you actually riding there... it's easier to wheely up it than down it, but if you start the wheely at the bottom it sort of dips before going up... not sure how I got crossed up but that wheely carried on for a while and I straigthened it out before landing so no worries there.
Notice me looking at the camera in the first pic, TART

My local spots..
1st one we went to Saturday, a police car was parked at the entrance
2nd one is probably the better one, but the police *usually* turn up.. they didn't this time though, one stretch is nicely tarmaced but it's quite short and is on open view to the main roads.. the bit further down the road (where my first pics were taken) is good but it does have the usual camber for drainage, really annoying but it's not too bad.. it's also quite short and has a dip in the middle where they've dug a trench and then re-tarmaced it.
3rd one, the one I go to mostly as I've never had any trouble there, nice long road, bumpy and camber too but it's not a bad place...
When we went up surrey way today, went to Ripley first and some old bloke came out from his house, he probably called the police so we left... nice road but seems to have a camber to the left...
2nd place was ace.. but short and again bloody cambers with bumps and dips

the last place where these pics were taken, i seemed to ride the best there but the camber was really bad and the gradient is hard to work with..
Just wish we could find a decent flat, straight spot! If only!
Re: Higher, higher!..
i didnt read all of the other post but take it higher off the start then your not gasing it to get it to Bp witch your far from in the pics but keep up the good work cant wait to see when you post up I GOT IT BP IS EASY lol keep up the hard work
Re: Higher, higher!..
I've got quite a way to go before BP haven't I? I'm doing about 35 in the pics. I'd imagine BP is about a foot at least higher? I know it's hard to say from a picture, but rough idea would be cool.. I seem to get higher/longer every practice session so hopefully it won't be far now
Re: Higher, higher!..
try it with your left foot on the back peg helps alot your quit a bit off but keep trying you will get it then its second nature dont forget about that back break so you dont loop it stay safe

Cheers mark
I want to start using the rear brake a bit, not neccesarily to slow it down (not good enough) but just to get used to using it etc.. going to wait until my cage turns up though then will try and find BP etc.. bit worried about dropping it at the minute before the cage is on..

Re: Higher, higher!..
Thanks, can't wait to get out next... too bloody cold in evenings now
it's got really cold compared to last week.. I reckon it's going to get icey and stuff again. Weekend should be good though and hopefully I'll be getting it higher and longer.
Jonny, your sit down vid was really smooth, smooth is the key.. I think my stand ups are relatively smooth but need a bit of refining as It's not always perfectly smooth.
