We heard tonight that the Old Royal Oak will be closing for two months from Thursday 29th Dec for a refurbishment; we are now in the process of securing a new venue for our Wednesday night meets until the pub re-opens.

I had no idea it was still going on. I heard they have a new manager there now, how are things with him?

 

The pub as just changed hands again and to be honest we are not much wiser on what is going to happen, I’m hoping to see one of the new owners before the weekend but I’ll be honest things are not looking too good for the bike nights and next Wednesday may well be our last at the “Oak” I will keep you guys informed once I have some news!

As you may be aware this Wednesday (28th Dec) will be our last meet at the Old Royal oak, I’m still not sure what is going to happen to the bike nights, I do however have a prospective new venue for our club meets, we will be going there this Wednesday, so if you would like to come along be at the “Oak” by 08:00pm this coming Wednesday!!!!!

Ten Sixty Six MCC is still on the look out for new members, if you’re interested and would like more info see me at the “Oak” this Wednesday (28th Dec)!!!!!!!!

Our next club ride out will be on Sunday 8th January 2006, meet @ the Old Royal Oak @ 11:00am, All Welcome, Weather Permitting!!!!!!!!!

Keep Us Informed Bout The New Venue Mate..shame That Pub Rocked

 

We will be moving our weekly meets too the Old Royal Oak (formerly Warwickshire Lad), Broad Lane, (B4101), Wood End, Tanworth in Arden, Nr Solihull, ALL WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunatly this place will not be big enough for a full on bike night, so i`m still on the look out for a suitable venue if we are not welcomed back to the "Oak"
