Re: Help....

I have a bunch in manchester. Mostly slicks with tons of good rubber left on them from the track. I have a few junk street tires as well that are on their last legs. I'm racing all weekend, PM me your name and number before 5 and i'll give you a call.

Re: Help....

If you want them i have some.

i run them at trackdays and can run around the track in the teens all day dragging bodywork. I wouldn't expect you'd need anywhere near that kind of grip for circles. Then again when you're getting something for free it's always good to be picky.

LOL. it's not a traction issue with the tires, it's a profile problem. Race take offs have too much of an angle to them or should I say too steep of a radius on the tire surface and want to make the bike fall on it's side in circles.

But if they have some good life on them, they might work. I am out straight till Friday. I'll hit you up with a PM and see if we can get together.

Re: Help....

Sure, i'll be around manchester friday night and most of the weekend. The profile on the tires should be fine, it varies depending on brand more than wear. The tires have plenty of life, you can still see the line from molding the tire down the center.
