It holds a petition and i am under the impression that the petition has not been submitted to the courts yet. A kid got in a bike accident and his friends called 911 ...3 times and was told- "too bad- thats what you get for playin around" The kid was 21 and died at the scene from head injuries that he may have been able to have been saved from had someone responded. They got it all on tape and the cop was punished ...with 15 days suspension. CRAZY!

 

I feel bad for the kid and his family. And it sounds like the *****-cop was an *******, but I doubt that it really made a difference...if he died from head trauma a week after the accident, then it probably didn't make much difference when the paramedics got there. Maybe a longer suspension would have been more appropriate, like 30days, but the cop didn't kill the kid. Internet petitions like this don't really serve much purpose. Just my 2cents.

 

now if this happened to a friend, or an acquaintance, then obviously I'd feel different...but as a fairly neutral observer, I don't think the pig should be fired over it.

 

Well I think he should be fired anyway. Its his actions that might have lost another persons life if the situation was different. He acted in such a way that he delayed medical attention to this kid. If it had been more immediately life threatening it would have to be the same reaction time. The point is is that he acted knowingly unlike a state trooper. You cant risk him doing it again.

Who is this kid- no one cares about his 2cents - just dont sign the damn thing! I just figured that if it happened to one of u guys and i tried to call the cops and got no help id be just as upset as this kid who dieds friends and family. Even if the kid lived through it i still think the cop frigged up and he should get more than a slap on the wrist. Anyway its gorgeous out- im goin to play- have a good day fellaz and BE CAREFUL!

This is the only time that this was investigated, but how many times did this ******* delay medical attention before. Head injuries are VERY time sensitve injuries and a minute or two can make serious changes in the outcome.
