I hear ya, by the time I can get to ride again, there will be no spots left.

 

There really isn't anywhere big enough for all of to ride as it is.
If that's the case the MPD will have to deal with us takin to the streets
everyday. It's their own choice, kick us out of all the lots and then we only have public streets. Fine by me, whatever we have do

--Arn't you guys sponsored by the Dare department?... If you do shows for them, you should be able to practice too...it comes along with the stunting-- can't one of you talk to them about having an officer on site or an EMT, etc. and having "scheduled practice" times in lots that you have permission to use? I think that they're more concerned about safety when they're kicking you out of lots because you don't have safety personnel on site like at the shows, and the people that own the lots are concerned about liability. Sign something that says you won't bring it to court if anyone gets hurt, you'll replace any damage caused by a bike if it crashes, etc. and get permission to use the lot... and see if there are any friends that are certified in the med. field to stand by while you're practicing. Bring it to the police department (spec. Dare) and ask for permission. Maybe you could work out a deal or something. It'd be rough running around for permission, but in the long run I think it'd be worth having a lot to practice in without the risk of getting arrested, changing spots, etc. Police can be @ssholes, but their main job is to keep the public safe. And it just so happens that you guys are "-Bad News-" so you're the ones that get f*cked with.
