Rules Overview:
Any New England resident/rider can pre-register for this competition. Sign up is limited to the first 28 riders. ONLY THE FIRST 28 RIDERS WILL BE REGISTERED ON A “FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS”. This makes a grand total of 40 New England riders (28 registered, 12 invitees) for the competition.

Each day will begin with a qualifying round where the top 15 riders will move on to the finals for that particular day. *
* (The 12 “Invited” riders have a “Buy” for the opening qualifying round the first weekend only)

15 riders will compete in the final round each weekend.

The top 10 finalists from the final round each weekend automatically qualify for a “Buy” for the final event in the next round.

Five spots for the final event will be open for each qualifying round (Only 3 spots for the first weekend since 12 “Invitees” are getting a “Buy”).

The qualifying round will be held in the morning of each event and will have a 2 Min. time limit. The final round will be held later in the afternoon and will have a 5 Min. time limit. Only One motorcycle per rider may be used in each event. A green flag will start the clock, a white flag will signal 1 minute, and a checkered flag will signal the end of the run.

Scoring:
Each competitor will be scored with a point system worth a total of 100 points.

The XSBA judging format will be in place for this event. Any questions regarding the rules of the competition please contact Chris “Teach” McNeil @ teach@core6.com

Categories:

1. Difficulty:
20 points total. The category is scored based on the difficulty of the rider’s entire run. The higher the level of difficulty of the tricks, the higher the score in this category will be. Keep in mind that execution also plays a major factor in difficulty; and while doing a few of the latest and greatest tricks may be hard, it probably won’t score as high as laying down a run full of various high difficulty tricks.

2. Execution:
20 points total. This category is based on how well the rider performs the tricks. Does the rider have control of the motorcycle, and does the rider do what he wants to do when he wants to do it – those are things that will score high. Theoretically, doing simple tricks well will earn points, but not as many as doing something more difficult well. As before, difficulty plays a role in execution.

3. Variation:
20 points total. The only concrete category that often separates riders. If you can do well in this category, typically your difficulty and overall scores will improve. Many riders throw away valuable points. There are four categories worth 5 points each; the categories are Wheelies, Stoppies, Acrobatics, and Burnouts. For each variation, the rider will score 1 point, with a maximum of 5 points awarded per category.

4. Overall:
40 points. This category is based on the run as a whole entity, including transitions, crowd interaction, energy and excitement, difficulty, execution, and variation. Executing a wide variety of tricks with a high level of difficulty and making all of that flow together while making it look easy will score the most points here.

FalconExtreme.com

thats the official website. Ronnie is supposed to be judging it, ray on the mic. Don't know much about the offroad race trucks, other than that have races with them, don't know if they will have that at the excalibur comps. but probably at the thompson speedway!

Ya Fraser got it right F Train check it out on the Falcon Extreme web page on the off road truck forum and you can get all the info that you want about it. As far as the judges go Teach is setting that up with Brent, Drew, and myself but I will make one promise to everyone and that is that it will all be done fairly!!!!! I know that Ronnie and Teach are def two of the judges that we are using and we are figuring the rest out right now.

Re: Comp Update

Soud good guys. Best of luck. Was curious about the truck comp because out Jeep Club www.deepwoodsextreme.com puts on a truck show each year. We make a rock course like you see on ESPN and it has grown quite large each year. This year we are at the Hopkins Fair Grounds. Our website has more info

Re: Comp Update

I am very excited about this event! It is basically an event by the riders for the riders...trying to create a place for new england riders to strut their stuff and get some well deserved publicity!

I am in fact the Lead Judge in this whole thing and along with the input of the others involved, I will be hand selecting the other 3 judges for these events. Rest assured that we will be fair and will score according to the posted judging guidelines.

There's no reason not to attend this championshp series and it is a great opportunity with a level playing field.

Good luck and get out there and clutch some wheelies, yack up some endoes, roast some tires, and stretch for some acros!!! you will need to be well rounded to do well!!

see you guys in a few weeks!
