theyre little 2 stroke mini race bikes, perfect for road racing. they have their own class in most road racing organizations

 

are those little bastards street legal? or can u make them street legal?

 

I think they are street legal as long as they have turn signals and lights and mirrors

 

the aprilia is, but it isnt the most practical street bike. why spend $2g's when you can get a used cbr or ninja at that price

 

it would only be fun because there smaller

 

i had a ysr50 back in college, was streetlegal & i used to ride it in the good weather to classes and **** - was pretty fun.

well it depends what ur looking for i suppose. It was fun then, but i was also like 19.....my pbike is definitely faster than that ysr50 was but many pbikes are faster than those ysr's. But at the same times they are easier to ride then a pbike & more practical for around town or whatever. Again, depends what ur looking for.

 

yeah i want one because 1, im 16 and will ride the f(ck out of it and ride it all around town.

 

then u would probably enjoy it, its much easier & safer to ride then a pbike is, my ysr50 was streetlegal - even took my colorado (was there at college) motorcycle license test on it

 

i mostly want it for a fun 2nd mode of transportation and something that will turn a few heads while im riding

 

lol it will definitely turn heads, but get a lot of laughs at u too since they are soooo small.....its like pbikes are cool b/c they are incredibly tiny, but the ysr50 looks like a girls bike!! (just kidding, but it does look a little silly).

They can be fun & will get you around & cheap on gas!

 

what really turns heads is a 30yr old man on a 50
