i just had the same proublem so i welded some gussets in and welded the pice u bolt to the subframe it is stronger than ever only took about 30min or u can go to bbr's website and get a new take off for $100

 

Hey, I've got a stock one I'll sell you for $40 + shipping. I took the ignition tab off but other than that it's good. I'll have to grind my #'s off it first though. Let me know either way. Thanks, Mike.

 

can i ask why you have to grind the #'s off? i need a frame too because the guy i bought it from ran it over when the kid left it in the driveway. if i know its legit, ill send the cash tonight.

 

Cause I've had the numbers transfered on to my new frame, and I still posess the title and paper work for it. If I sold it to you and your 50 were to get stolen or something happened to it, that my come back to be next time they run my #'s. I crossed the U.S. border one time at 2:00 am with 2 bikes and 3 50's on my trailer and all of the bikes vins were checked along with my car and trailer because they thought I was stealing bikes and bringing them across the border. Sorry if this doesn't work for you but I won't sell it with the #'s. Thanks, Mike.
