kickstand advice for xr50 with big suspension

i'm running BBR front forks and an i-shock on the back...

the bike leans over too far on the kickstand, it actually fell over today.

any advice re. a longer kickstand that will bolt right on? Probly needs to be 2 or 3 inches longer than stock.

thanks!

Weld something on it to make it longer.

welding would be your best bet. cut off the pad that rests on the ground, buy some 1/2" diameter (or whatever diameter it is) tubing, and take it to a welder. it could proabaly be done for cheap. probably wouldnt look great, but it would work just fine.

I'm gonna rip the lift kit off in the near future. the i-shock on the back raises it by 2", even with the stock swingarm. I slapped that (the i-shock) on a week ago, and it made a noticeable difference. when I put the new forks on yesterday, the thing tipped over when I propped it up on the kickdstand...

I adjusted the front height by moving the stantions, but it's still much higher than stock...

so, sounds like you want to make an offer on that lift kit, eh?
