Big Bore Help
Big Bore Help
I AM LOOKING AT PICKING UP THE BBR 82CC KIT IT COMES WITH AN ALUMINUM CYLINDER, CAM, PISTON , PIN, RINGS, GASKETS , AND 62 MAINJET. I HAVE A COUPLE QUESTIONS TO ANYBODY WITH KNOLEDGE, I JUST PICKED IT UP, IT HAS A TWO BROTHERS PIPE AND K AND N FILTER. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW THE KIND OF HORSEPOWER IT WILL MAKE, I CAN'T FIND STATS ANY WHERE AND ALSO ANY SUGESTION ON DIFFRENT KITS OR IF I HAVE PICKED THE RIGHT ONE I WANT TO MAKE SOME POWER BUT BE ABLE TO RUN ON PUMP GAS AND NOT BREAK THE BANK DOING IT. GOOD LOOK ON ANY HELP
Re: Big Bore Help
not sure exactly how much power it will make but i know the 100cc motors are supposed to make 6-7hp so i imagine stockers being 3-3.5 and the 80cc somewhere in between?
oh yeah... CAPS LOCK MEANS YOU ARE YELLING!

Re: Big Bore Help
Ive seen dyno sheets of 88cc BBKs w/pipes pushing around 6-8hp. Why dont you want to go an extra 6cc? I doubt there is much of a price difference. Check out holeshot motorsports they have the Atomic 88cc BBK kit for $299, it includes cams, carbs, filters and all. All you'll need is a oil pump and upgrade your clutch.
I dont know much info about the Fab5 kit.

Re: Big Bore Help
an 80 makes about 6-7 horses
you need to run an xr 70 carb on that set up so you can dial in the
carb better the stk carb doesnt allow for pilot jet tunning it is pressed in, the 70 carb does allow pilot jetting, also i would run the stock airbox from the 70
with that carb
i run powroll, they do all the bbr stuff,i dont know about fabs stuff or bbk
as far as the clutch, i wouldnt bother, keep it adjusted properly and you should be fine,
there is a good post from me and xidium on fuel in this forum youll have to go back a few pages but they have links and will explain fuel alot better to you
hope that helps good luck
