D@mnit! Bent my frame

So...I was jumping the fiddy today and i was trying to jump off this 2 foot tall launch ramp onto this part where the grass in my friends yard sloped down. Well after a few tries i was making the 15 or so foot gap and was getting like 4ft up but the landing was real hard and i bent my frame.........

Anyways, how hard is it to bend it back and whats a good way to do it? Will it hold up after i bend it back if i put a frame brace on it? I had one on before but it was shoddy and didnt last long. Anyone selling a used chromoly frame?

If i were you i wouldn't try to bend it back, it just makes it even weaker, even with a frame brace it still might have the possability of cracking or breaking. (i think)

What i would do is e-mail or get on the phone with people like fast 50's, sano, red baron, or any place that sells aftermarket frames and try to get a list of people that have bought frames from them. I'm sure you could find at least a couple of people who would be willing to sell or give you thier old frames.
The hard part would be trying to find frames that are in good cond. Then if you found a frame for cheap, you could put a frame brace on it and it would be better than new.

Hope that helped

doubt it. But ebay has frames all night and day, that's where I bought one. I guess I gotta go get a frame brace or something, cuz I know my fat *** will bend my frame soon with the way I ride. Ya know, another thing, you may be able to bend the frame back, and gusset it right under where the headtube attaches to the frame, if you have access to a welder or welding person.
