i have a 1987 honda 70cc four wheeler. i was wondering if i could use the same big bore kit that i put on my 50?

 

u need a bore kit for a 70. since the 70 head has a bigger combustion chamber, the piston is different

 

hehehe them atc 70 autos are prized lil pieces
cause they are lil torque motors
if you were smart youd leave it stk and ride it that way
itll bolt right in is sweet too
i havent put a micrometer to the two different pistons
but they look the same as far as the domes
the pic is of a 82 kit for a xr 50 and an atc 70,but could be some thing else different they list the same size stroker crank for both so i would think it would work, slip it together roll it over slowly and see, pin sizes look the same too ,gasket sets are identical

you judge for yourself you got the two pistons borrow a mic and check it out

 

were would i get that at. i havent seen one for a 70 before. not that i really lokked though. thanks to everybody for the advice
