More jet ???
More jet ???
Fab5 is hooking me up with an 88 light bore. Should get on fri. What main jet are you guys running in the stock carb? I'm going to start with a 60. Fab5 said I may need to go to a 62. Just wondering what other people have found.

Re: More jet ???
I'll tell you what, finding main jets for the stock carb seems pretty tough. I've been all over the web and I haven't had any luck. I even tried keihen's web site. The only think that looked close was listed as a slow jet for an FCR carb on a big bike. I'm beginning to think the dealer is the only option. The last time I tried to get a 60 main from the dealer it took about 40 min. for the clerk to tell me " I don't think I have one,but I can try and order one". Which to me sounds like I'll order something and you'll wait at least a week and it won't be the right part. I might just have to get a bigger carb thats eaiser to get parts for.......
Re: More jet ???
That's nonsense-I have a 60 in my stocker and also bought a #62 from a Honda dealer in Toledo, Oh. Sounds like you need to find a new dealer that knows what's going on. Cost me about $5.00 for both jetsand took 2-3 days.

I'm glad to hear someone had good luck with the dealer. The clerk at my dealer said too many " I thinks" for me. Plus he quoted me something like $6.95 for the stock 58 jet---since that was the only part number he could find, if It was correct. Time for me to hunt down a new dealer. Thanks for the info.
Re: More jet ???
the part #for the stock carb 60 jet is : 99101-1870600 if you want a 62 jet the number would be 99101-1870620............... and so on.... maybe this will help those guys out at the dealership
