Removing Roller Pin from collar??? HOW?

I am installing the fork stiffeners and need to remove the roller pins from the collar. How do I get it out? Do I just bang it out? I want to do it correctly so I dont have to buy more parts. ~nick

You need to use a hammer & dot punch. DO-NOT Do what I did first time round put it on the ground & tap it out, I hit it a bit hard & shattered the collar.
Put a rag it the vice & tighten, just below the collar & tap out that way. Make sure the punch is not to small or it will spread the roll pin & will be a mission to get it to go back in...
