Another Problem!

hah, I'm gonna have a break down. I think I finally got the forks fixed... went to take it for a test ride and tried to kick it over and there is zero compression. I actually busted my shin when I kicked it. I mean you can push it down with your hand. It does spring back up, and if you try and kick it over in gear the back tire still spins so I don't think it's the gear. Anyone have any idea's before I have the case split open?

Re: Another Problem!

wait, what exactly did you do to you're bike between the time it ran and when you found out it won't? in these types of circumstances its almost always human error and it always ends up being something so simple, just gotta think about what you did to it recently. just the other day we couldn't figure out why imprezawd's fiddy was buring oil and building up a ton of pressure in the case, just to find out when he moved his lock cyl. to the back of the frame he pinched the case breather hose!

Re: Another Problem!

you would never need to split the cases for a no compression problem anyway.hey keep it simple.dont go out of your mind.start from the plug ad work into the head.is the plug there?if so take it out put your fnger in the hold.kick it with the other hand(on/off switch off or the spark hurts)or get help.do you feel air.is the piston even moving.if the clutch is slipping it wont turn over the motor.the clutch works between the kick shaft and crank.did the cam chain jump time.is it so flooded that the rings have lost there seal to the cylinder walls.

Re: Another Problem!

The bike is at silver surfers, I didn't do anything to it between now and the last time it ran. Hopefully it's something stupid and will be figured out tomorrow
