for some reason the 50 wont stay idleing...runs fine with the choke on....but when i turn the choke off after i warm it up...it just kinda dies. It runs fine while riding it, but you need to keep reving it to keep the engine going...

What the ****s the deal here? Could it be that its just been SOOOOO cold out latley...like 10 below to 15 above everyday????? that have anything to do with it? or may it be something else?

 

prolly the cold. try turnin the idle air screw a bit

 

Where is that located? im not too sure?
It used to run great.,,,didnt have this problem before..untill it got reallyt cold

 

yeah its just the cold man. its the smallest screw on the side of the carb

 

lol, my Z does that, I figured that's what happens when you ride a 10 year old bike

 

Yeah cold is the problem It was 10 degrees out and I started mine up had to turn the idle screw in about 2 full turns to keep it going now its back to 30 degrees out I put the screw back in normal position and it fine
