throttle cable question

throttle cable question
I was putting on my BBR handle bar kit tonight, when I over tightend the nuts on the throttle cable, which snapped the threads on the metal "L" that connects to the throttle cap.
Am I going to have to order a whole new cable or can the metal "L" be replaced?
