Re: Problem

Your bike won't wheelie itself . It's got like 2hp . You gotta gas it , wait 1/4 of a second , then pull on the bars .

Re: Problem

No . You need to practice . It's all about timing . Get the wheel higher . If you think you're gonna flip , tap the rear brake .

You will be on and off the throttle alot .

thats pretty much the deal with mine i gas it it bogs then kicks up and some times when im at a stop and i gas it a little bit to go about a foot and a half and it still goes when i let off. just a few minutes ago i would turn my handle bars to the right and it would rev the engine the farther i went. the remp is also in the teens.

your throttle cable needs more slack..

and all stock 50's have that bog

Yea that sounds like ur cable either needs more slack or its gettin cinked up somewhere when u turn it! My 1000 did that. Put all the slack u can to ur throttle up on the bars. When it has alot of slack then start it and turn the bars and see if it does it then!

Re: Problem

is there anything that can be done and a DIY mod to the stock fiddys to help the power along? does taking out the silencer hurt the power or help?

Re: Problem

I personally love the mild manners of stock. I can slow wheelie down to a pause, hold the wheel in the air and take off again, still in the wheelie. No prayer for this with my 88 or 99cc set ups.

While you are learning, keep it in first. You can use the automatic clutch if you are savvy. Push your shifter up into first but dont let the shifter down, hold it up, rev the motor up a tad and let the shifter down into gear and it's just like a clutch up. Be careful while you play with this or it will put you on your butt fast. Go try it and see if that helps.
