ok, i broke the throttle cable on my 50 and i was curious, is there anything cheaper than the 30$ cable at the dealership? i went ahead and bought one but this sucks for that price. There isn't a cheaper cable i could use? I thinktthey told me the carb cap has to be attached so you can't use another cable but i see you sell the carb cap separate here on stuntlife. what do i buy so i can just use a regular cable for 4$ and save money if i break another one.

also, is that CDI booster, the purple one, kitaco or something any good? i have a 72cc piston (i think) from armor tech nad i'm gonna have my 50 bored out and run this piston and didn't know if that would be wise or if it would junk out my motor. thanks

 

Talk to Shugga about the cable, he might be able to help ya out. Haven't heard a whole lot of good things about the cdi box, you'd probably be better off spending the money on something else.

 

so is there some new carb cap that isn't attached to the cable so i can change the cable without buying the whole 30$ part? i see shugga sells cables and carb caps separately adn cables are only 16$ so is that what that is?

Honestly don't know bro, I would assume you could just replace the cable, but have no knowledge of that. Pm Shugs and find out would be my advice. How's the weather in IN? I'll be in Northwest Indiana in about a month, then down to Indy.

 

weather in indiana sucks nuts. it's been cold as hell these past couple days and it was like 50 and raining today. i don't know what's up with me wearing a jacket and being cold in june but it's not fun.

anyways, i got my new cable on, it works fine but i hope i don't break it cause that SOB was 30$.
