Throttle (or choke) Problem..?
Throttle (or choke) Problem..?
I bought a brand new 110 last night, it was so new, i pulled it out of the shipping crate, and had to put some stuff togeather. The guy that sold it to sells all differant kinds of dirtbikes cause his son races as well as his wife and daughter . Long story short, He had to give me a the part of the throttle house that goes on the bar off another bike cause he used the one offa mine for it
Well i put it togeather, and i dont know if the choke is freaking out or what, but the spring back on the throttle is WAAAAY weak (almost non existant) and if you roll it forward to cut it, you can go to far and pin it the other way.
Its rideable, but its really hit or miss when your stopping. I almost took out my R6 when i pulled it into the garage cause i locked the back tire, skid into the garage, and let the throttle off in where i thought it was closed.
it wasnt.....
As soon as i leaned down to take the key i slipped the brake a little, and the son of a bitch shot out, i grabbed it like a super man and spun around a couple times and slapped the key off.
Im so glad i didnt take out the ignition yet....
But does anyone know a quick easy fix for this? I only paid 200 bucks for it, but itd be nice to have it right.

Re: Throttle (or choke) Problem..?
forgot to mention the inside of the grip where the cable goes is a little tattered up, but still at a nice roundness to it, as well as the inside peice of the house
Re: Throttle (or choke) Problem..?
Yea i bought a new throttle tube last night, and it made it worse, so i checked the connection. But i found the problem. The metal wrapping in the line's sleeve was crimped, so it was keeping it from springing back, and keeping it from being pulled all the way. I unwound about 8 revolutions off the wrap, cut it, and put a new tube around it, now it works great.
That bike is the ****. First time riding pitbikes, didnt know what i was missin
