50stunt stage 1 88 kit Help

Exclamation 50stunt stage 1 88 kit Help

I just purchased a stage 1 88 kit does anyone know if there is going to be any other mods i will need to do, or anyone recomend any mods to go with it? will it run correctly .. the bike is completely stock, motorwise!

While you have it apart put a heavy duty oil pump in. It would probably also be a good idea to throw in some heavy duty clutch springs.

ninety8 ?? should i have a after market oil pump in my bbr 82cc kit im in the process of doing it. if you can post info it will help (would like to put it in while apart) thanks alot -eric

It isn't really 100% needed but it is a cheap alternative to fixing it later in my mind.

Well i put it in and it started up 2nd kick, its insane on power not too much faster top end, i need clutch springs for sure but do i need the oil pump, should i not ride it until i get one + it has a wierd noticeable knock to it coming from the timing chain roller area any suggestions

Let me guess, it is right off idle and then it goes away. Some kits do that and some kits don't. One thing I have heard you should do in the situation is check your valve clearances.

yes it is valve tick but easy to correct

i just did the bbr 82cc kit w/ cam, and have the same problem. i set the clearance at .002 and still have the tick. ne ideas? runs good/ takes a few kicks to start. thanks for any ideas

Well i just installed the same exact kit last night on my 07crf and no tick

im gonna take my 01 apart and look it over

PS my kit is 88 only a piston and head NO CAM so NO CAM CHANGE = NO ADJUSTING VAULVES
