I have a 1970 some Honda Z50 that I am in the process of rebuilding... I am working on the front forks... I took them apart but I can not get the spring off of the fork? I was wondering how do I do this?

Also wondering... when you use to push fowards and back wards on the forks there was movement... what would cause this??

well im not sure about a 1970 z50, but on my forks theres a little pin that holds the spring to the fork.

 

I don't know the answer, but there are some really smart CT70/Z50 restoration people on here: http://s87907731.onlinehome.us/webboard/. The Z50 section is new on that site, but if you post in the CT70 section, someone can give you a definite answer.
