do street tires help

today my fiddy claimed another victim and it was me. i was rolling 60+ foot endos and i noticed my front tire kept sliding when on 1 of my endos it slid then caught and through me over the front of the bike. talk about some dirty road rash. so im knda scared of doing them on those tires and was thinking about ordering some street tires but i dont know if they make a big difference. any suggestions on what kind of tires i should get next?

street tires are awesome. I roll on the Bridgestone HOOPs on stock rims. I switched over my stock dirt tires onto some fast 50s gold rims and heavy duty spokes. Both sets ride like a true champ.

Takes a few hours and a lot of patience. You have to open up the holes on the hubs to fit the heavier spokes thru. www.50ccracing.com has a write-up on it under "tips". I'd probably use the heavier rims off road though. Stockers don't seem to hold up to the abuse.
