i have cheng shin tires (c800s i think?) and i love'em, they're super smooth on the street, grip a lot better than stock, and they're still good in the dirt. i paid $25 shipped for the pair. well worth the money.
oh yeah they're 2.75x10's...

Re: Xr50 Street Tires
The cheng shen's seem to be the cheapest tires I found and work just great. I put a 2.75 on the front and a 3.00 on the rear. They also work good in the dirt. You could get them at any motorcyle shop. Shugga, when is the store going to be up. I clicked on the link and it doesnt show me anything. I want to check out those Bridgestones.
