newbie question about older 50s
just bought a 99 and a 98 xr 50 both run great and are in very very good shape. . . are they any good, can you mod them to new swingarms and brake kits also can you use the same big bore kits as the 00-06 models

its a z50r the chassis is totally different but the motor parts are all the same as 00-06. it has 2 rear shocks instead of a mono rear shock and it has 8" wheels compaired to 00-06 had 10" wheels. they make a bridgestone hoop for the z50r 3.00x8 its narrower than stock but it works thats what i have on mine. the sprockets are different both front and back. it has a smaller carb but the carb cap is the same 00-06. the foot pegs and mount are the same. thats all i can think of now. hey if your looking to get stuff for it go to classic honda website. http://www.hondaminitrail.com/
