Circles

1st or 2nd gear. Seems like first is so hard to keep goin and if you try to use the break it wants to stall out .... i can get completely around once then either stalls or starts to fall, or i lean in to far. Any advice?

Re: Circles

first gear for me

Second would be way to fast to get a tight circle i'd think

People always told me to sit really far forward on the seat, but I never got a circle like that..
One day I was sitting fairly far back on the seat, and it just clicked.. I went from hitting 1 maybe 2 circles, to nailing 6 in a row.. Then did it again and nailed another 6.

Street tires should help also.. I learned on street tires

Also before you even attempt circles, make sure you can wheelie for blocks and blocks.. If you don't have balance down perfect then adding in a circle will probably get you no where.

Also, maybe try with no brake.. I never use my brake cause I never learned control lol.. I just bring it up, lean, and if I start to fall inwards, I give it a lil gas and it brings it back up.. If that makes sense?

Re: Circles

they will click one day soon, once you've gotten the general idea, you'll get it in no time.

brake control is important to me though

if your going to highside, let off gas/use brake, when you think you're gonna fall inwards, gas it and it'll stand up again

i can do them till i'm dizzy, adn finally can do figure 8 stand ups in first

i can come in a wheely topped out in second adn slow it down into very tight circles ...practice, practice, practice you'll get it

Re: Circles

i do em in first, using mostly throttle control, tap the brake if it tried to fall out of the circle, gas if it falls in. Tried lots of different seat and standing positions. sitting with my *** off to the right seems to help a little on left and vice versa for right circles

i agree it helps if my big *** sits a little off to one side, also beware of your feet, cant put too much pressure on the pegs that will throw you way off

Re: Circles

I still can't really get them. I have to tap my inside foot on the ground once or twice per revolution. Just waiting for them to click.

i love the 88 a guy i ride with just got one and when i ride it my circle combos are 10 times smoother and i do every thing in first it just gives you that little edge if you do let it fall a little you can just pick it right back up and it doesnt even look like you missed a beat but with the stock fiddy if you let it fall going from podium to special k or some other combo that changes the weight on the bike u have to try a lot harder to get it back up bp
