couple of months ago i installed a big bar kit and exchanged the stock throttle for a extended one, therefore i had to remove the carb cap and what not. after that i have to switch the gas to "RES" instead of "ON" or else it dies out on me after a few min of riding. i tried to reinstall the carb top making sure i did it correctly. anyone know what is going on? thanks

 

Id say your gas tank screen is clogged...drain the gas and blow it out with air..

 

The reserve problem is serperate from the carb cap. They are unrelated.
