help CRF50 '05

ok i just bought an 05 crf and its running like **** lol. i think it needs to be re jetted. it has e-22 race heads with some aftermarket exhaust and a dif air filter. the carb is stock! it runs ok untill i grab a hand full of throttle and it bogs kinda like it needs more fuel? it has no bottom end power. wtf....and who makes the e22 head? maybe i could call them....i ordered jets from the dealer but of course they keep getting the wrong type. and it also has a four speed trans? no clutch! the guy had this thing set up for racing for his son.....ive checked every thing its really a honda and i also have the paperwork for it too....help me out

Have you tried to adjust the fuel mixture screws or moving the clip for the top needle? Sounds to me like it needs more fuel too. With the head, exhaust & filter, sounds like its getting lots more air than stock. 4speed trans?? I don't know about that...Stock is a 3 speed, no clutch.

Go back to the list of threads and to the stickys. Read the carburation one. On top of the carb(where the throttle cable goes into). It unscrews and the needle is in there. There is a clip on it to adjust how much air or fuel you get. One way makes it richer and the otherway makes it leaner.
Maybe it'll help. Go to fiddylife.com. Ask Fab5fiddy. He's the resident fiddy master.
