Which MXCrazy 72cc bike to get??
Which MXCrazy 72cc bike to get??
It wouldn't allow me to post this in the fiddy forum. Can someone move it please.
I'm going to buy one of the 72cc MXCrazy bikes tomorrow but which one?
They have a type 1 and a type 2. Here are the differences that I see.
Type 1
All have CRF50 style front forks with stiffer springs.
All have tall bars.
Type 2
All have conventional front forks with stiff springs.
All have tall bar clamps and bars.
Pictures of both are @ http://bikes.mxcrazy.com/72.html
Type 1 is the red bike pictured
Type 2 is the blue bike pictured
What ya'll think??

no idea. i was planning on getting the option 2. lol, call the guy tomarrow and ask him whats up. What the diff is with the forks and tell him what kinda riding your gonna be doing. He should probly be able to take care of ya.
Re: Which MXCrazy 72cc bike to get??
i have had the type 2 for about 3 months now. very good bike and easily built into a stunter. only a few complaints, tranny had some trouble but had it fixed works great now, very weak top tripple clamps needs to be replaced imediatly. i believe theyre newer models have a better trans in them but overall a great substitute for crf. all honda aftermarket parts ive bought work on it just fine.
current mods-
pegs
rear handbrake
3 piece bmx handlebars
Ishock rear suspension
red barron top triple clamp

im also planning on getting one from there. i think the main differences for the type 1 and 2 are: the type 1 has the crf style front end. inverted forks crf type tripple clamp. type 2 has xr70 tripple and the normal forks which might even be hydraulic. type 2 also comes with a cone filter instead of an airbox. as soon as i gather the funds im ordering mine.
Re: Which MXCrazy 72cc bike to get??
the regular forks are hydraulic, at least mine were i know these are slightly newer models, i upgraded the rear suspension but havent done anything to the fronts. frides wonderfully and i weigh 150
Re: Which MXCrazy 72cc bike to get??
I have the type 2 right now. I love it. Have stunt pegs, gripper seat, SikMX handlebars, and street tires, and rear spring. I want to get the type 1 in a 110 and set it up for dirt. If money wqsn't so tight i'd get a 50stunt Handbrake. Im ot with a injury so any new parts are on hold for 4-6 months
Maybe by then I'll have a second MX bike and my stunt mx bike finished. Plan to paint up the plastic over winter. here's some pics.
