lowering the gearing with stock motor

Anybody go +1 on the front with stock motor? I've been thinking about doing it, bike feels like it's gonna blow up in fast 1st gear circles, wanted to hear from anybody that's done it how it is.

Re: lowering the gearing with stock motor

finally did it, definetly makes first gear circles smoother, it still pulls 3rd gear but takes forever, was hoping it would help me pull some more distance on my coasters but i think i'm gonna need to get an 88 to get some usable extra speed. Would recommend it though.
