Re: fiddy turbo?!?!

cool

although im 99% sure you'd need a custom turbo like that tiny one they were using..

a 3 cylinder car turbo, or a whatever turbo prolly woulden't work.. Even thoguh the car may only be 1.5liter or whatever, the bike is still 0.05 liter ><

the company actually makes that one though, do you think it would work on a fiddy, they show it on one of those zongshen 110cc motors i think

Re: fiddy turbo?!?!

It's an ITI turbo and costs ~750. Way to answer obvious questions Matt, I can delete the website extention and find the homepage. Was wondering if anyone knows the ITI model # for the turbo?

Re: fiddy turbo?!?!

i worked in turbo manufacturing/rebuilding for a few years.. ( i still do some custom turbo work)

can you get me pic of this turbo? one of my distributors would be able to find the part #....and are you sure it's not "IHI" ? I've never heard of an ITI when i was in the business as far as turbo manufacturers, but IHI is a very large company and they do make a line of very small compressors that spin at ungodly RPMS, they are in the Ballistic line of products. They have very small stuff for motorcycles and configurations where there is not much room.

Sorry, it's an IHI. I have the model # at work. It's about the size of a cigarette lighter. Model # is ***-3; the * are all letters and I know it designates a ball bearing turbo.

I don't know if we deal with IHI, but I can find out tomorrow, or I can get a comparable garrett model. I know we have one but forget about the size, new it's 350.

and I think your model number you were thinking of is rhf-3
look at the link.

I think your right. Your price of $350 sounds right too. The turbo shop said they were $750. Rule of retail is double your price.

updated video of the pocketbike with the turbo. don't seem that insane to me.

It's a 110 china bike. They didn't get that much boost out of it yet. The Turbo is an IHI RHB3.
