A friend of mine is selling a 2000 jr50 ($700). I was interested in buying it to stunt with but really dont know much about 50s.. Only sportbikes. Can you change everything (big bar,12bar,springs) like an xr/crf? Also is the suzuki jr50 even worth trying to stunt? Any help would be great.

 

stick with honda,or wait for yamaha next month.

 

Stick w/ the Honda. There aren't many parts out there you can buy right off the shelf for a jr that will bolt right up. They only have one gear and are slow on the take off unless you know how to get the hidden first gear. You should be able to get a good used Honda for that price 02 and up. They probably will already have mods too. Try the classifieds section or go to your local dealer. You can get a brand new Honda for another $500.

 

dont bother its a 2-stroke you would have to mix gas all the time and its not a good stunter

 

It's not a good stunter but you don't have to premix the gas it is oil injected.
