I just recently picked up an 04 crf 50 brand new from a friend for $600 (less than 10 minutes on it) and when i turn the throttle it sticks? what should i check or adjust to fix this problem?

 

check the grip to see if it may be ina bind , if not check for dirt, if not take apart the throttle and lube it

 

check the routing of the throttle cable
usually if someone changes the barz which everyone does they ignorantly dont pay attention to the cable and how it is routed, this is the way i got mine totally phucked up routing and as soon as you turned the handle bar it would rev up,also check that the end of the throttle tube isnt damaged or pushed up against the handle bar end from crashing
